By downloading, installing, or using the MighTTY app, website, and related services (together "MighTTY"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
About the service
MighTTY is an iOS terminal app for connecting to remote servers you own or are authorized to access via SSH and Mosh, including working alongside AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex.
Your responsibilities
- Only connect to servers you own or are authorized to access
- Safeguard your SSH credentials, private keys, and host access
- You are responsible for any commands you run in the terminal and their consequences, including possible data loss or system damage
- Do not use MighTTY for any unlawful or harmful purpose
Updates and availability
MighTTY evolves continuously; features, interface, and behavior may change at any time. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular feature will remain. Remote connections may fail due to network, server, and third-party infrastructure issues.
Open source and licensing
The source code of this app is open source under the GPL-3.0 license and is available onGitHub. Official binaries distributed through the App Store follow MighTTY's App Store license (EULA). SeeLICENSE-APPSTORE.md.
Intellectual property
The MighTTY name, logo, and related assets belong to MighTTY. Except as permitted by the open-source license, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer them without permission.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MighTTY is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of MighTTY — including but not limited to data loss, consequences of executed commands, security incidents, and connection failures.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of MighTTY means you accept the updated terms.
